At what stage in chicken embryo development does interferon alpha production begin?

Is there production of interferon alpha in chicken eggs before hatching, or is the immune system not formed enough before hatching to produce interferon alpha? Could anyone point me in the direction of a good resource for a timeline of immune development in SPF eggs?
