Open theists claim that God does not know counterfactuals of creaturely freedom. Some Calvinists claim that God cannot know counterfactuals of creaturely freedom, which is why God determines all things (such that there is no genuine creaturely freedom and God preserves his omniscience).
Which is why I wonder whether Calvinism really is Christianity.
We are humans. We invented our various definitions and descriptions of God, or gods, and his or their nature. Let's assume for the sake of argument that there is a God. It is inescapable that whatever notions we conceive, whatever limits we place on this idea we have, are going to be erroneous. That's a given.
Okay, so, many of us have grown up to believe that God' knowledge and power have no limit. Does that mean that we are right? Heavens no. People are too often wrong about notions they hold. Why would this be any different?
Of course Allah exist and there is no other assumptions and He knows everything ins and outs.
Perhaps a distinction can be made between:
1/ God knows everything that is true.
2/ God knows everything that is knowable.
This is similar to the distinction between:
3/ God can do everything
4/ God can do everything that is doable.
Presumably God's omnipotence does not entail the ability to do the logically impossible, so one can reject 3 but accept 4.
Depending on one's metaphysical/theological doctrines regarding the nature of God, temporality, truth, and human free will, one might take the position that truths about future choices are unknowable because the future doesn't yet exist. God can still know causally determined truths about the future, because he devised the laws of nature, but truths about a person's choices can't be known in this way because that would be logically incompatible with free will. So one might reject 1 but accept 2.
Of course if one's position on free will is compatibilism (i.e. the view that an action can be both free and determined), then such a distinction between 1 and 2 would not be tenable.
So the answer depends on whether God is a compatibilist.
This question is easily amenable to mathematical analysis. The bottom line is, if a God is transcendent, then a simple analysis based on Gödel's Incompleteness Theorem shows that, among other things, God then cannot possibly be all-knowing (this result is also buttressed by other, independent considerations.)
In order to know everything, the only mathematically valid inference is that God is immanent - present everywhere.
First of all, one does not know who he is eventhough he is sure about his own existence. Let first someone answer this mathematically. Then we can think about GOD.
