Methodology will usually depend upon the properties of the specific compounds you intend to load into the tubes. That said, can you provide the identities of your "growth factors" as references for answering your question? It will also help to provide any of the relative polarities, concentration viscosities, and other such physical & chemical properties of your growth factors for which you might already have some knowledge or references.
