We want to check c-kit expression in mouse testis section. We have purchased several c-kit antibodies but they did not work. Have someone used c-kit antibody before and could you kindly provide the information (#cat)?
Furthermore, Could someone provide information of other differenting spermatogonia (diff spg) marker(s)?

The c-Kit Antibody (M-14) from Santa Cruz (Cat.# sc-1494) works properly at 1:100 for immunohistochemistry (IHC) on testicular tissue. Please, see Arkoun et al. (2015) and other recent studies around the Team of Pr Nathalie Rives for further informations on protocols.

For "spermatogonial" antibodies: Sall-4 (for undifferentiated type A spermatogonia), C-kit (for differentiating spermatogonia), Stra-8 (for preleptotene Spermatocytes), Tra98 (for spermatogonia as well as leptotene/zygotene and pachytene spermatocytes I), cAMP responsive element modulator (CREM-1, for late pachytene and post-meiotic spermatids), and Acrosin (for the acrosome of post-meiotic spermatids).
