As an academician and a lecturer, for that matter, I have encountered a lot of students with different characteristicsor traits. What I useful learn from my students is their tenacity to absorb and quickly adjust to my strenuous criticism. Another aspects of my students that I admire the most is their ability to obey their plan of work.

learn to think different.

My undergrad - taught me how to pretend patience ...

They would say - "Mam , we are students " .

My Post-grad - taught me how to think and rethink (about what I know) as they listened ...

I learned that the acceleration, diversity and sequence of generations incites the modernization of teaching methods, the diversity of methods of delivery of information, coupled with more adhering to the values and ethics of education

After a long period of academic teaching, and despite the age difference between me and my students, I began to feel , learn and think with the students to raise their level of science, and to get off the high tower in dealing with the level of their class.

I learned and still learn many countless lessons from both the brilliant and less performing students. The brilliant students taught me the diacritics in succeeding as an academic in very complex learning conditions.

The low performing but hardworking students taught me the need to be patient, caring, motivating, assisting, coaching and tenderly assuring the weak to be strong to be able to walk the full distance to the moon!

In fact, many of the rich and 'golden' lessons in my academic career have issued from the often ignored and academically weak students.

As a higher education (HE) lecturer, you'll teach academic or vocational subjects to undergraduate and postgraduate students aged 18 and over. Teaching methods include lectures, seminars, tutorials, practical demonstrations, field work and e-learning. Multimedia technologies are becoming increasingly used.

Administrative tasks take up a significant part of the working day. Many lecturers also take on a pastoral role with their students.

Lecturing takes place in universities and in some further education colleges.

I learnt that not all the same. We learn from each other.

I am not teaching undergraduate students. I am teaching and guiding post graduate students and research scholars.

Post graduate students are mature but less studious.

Research scholars are very labourious.

For me, the most beautiful moments of my life when I am in the lecture hall with students, I will be very very very happy

Learning from mentee is pivotal to the favorable outcome of a negotiated mode of working. Mentors are required to acquire some prerequisite skills including the abilities to discuss and cooperate in groups and speculate on experience-based learning in order to collaborate more adequately in the shared decision-making process. Instructors can acknowledge including a concise training block at the outset of the course, integrated with periodic sessions focusing on specialized learning strategies pertinent to the tasks in hand at the time of the course.

I learned that an undergraduate student's grandmother can die more than once, thus interfering with the student's ability to meet assignment deadlines with a number of instructors over several semesters.
