In this topic, a common application of AI is its use in Industry 4.0. Though its concept is perfect for well-educated, developed countries, its impact is widely different in underdeveloped countries, where there is a high rate of unemployment, where people is not educated as much (i.e., only a minority have professional, college degrees), and where the access to technology is not simple for organizations. In this situations, Industry 4.0 has a social cost that is completely different to what happens in a more ideal situation.

As such, I consider this could be an interesting research topic, of which I have not found much literature. Related to Industry 4.0, there are few articles in general that evaluate its HR aspect, but I can recommend Article Holistic Approach for Human Resource Management in Industry 4.0

Of course, there are many more topics. I'm pointing out those that are more familiar to my lines of work.
