"Sodiq, an article you cited has been retracted"
I received this message thrice this week alone, and I am beginning to wonder what really is going.
To make the matter worse, these are papers already published as far back as 2020, 2021, and 2022. Is ESPR journal not doing it due diligence before publishing these manuscripts?

Like many others they are now busy 'cleaning up' their collection of published papers, see for example https://retractionwatch.com/2024/10/15/springer-nature-journal-has-retracted-over-200-papers-since-september/
