I don't research in marine Oomycota, but if you want a help, I will be ready. I am working on terrestrial Oomycota such as Pythium, Phytophthora, etc.

Pseudo-nitzschia which is considered ecologically and economically important because it affects human health, and Melosira sp. are marine Oomycota. They belong to the phylum Oomycota and related to the genera of algal parasites Anisolpidium and Olpidiopsis and the diatom parasitoid species Miracula helgolandica.

Dear Dr Salih,

Thank you very much for your answer to the question I asked on research gate and I apologize for my late reply.

After discussion with colleagues it appeared to me that with the morphological information I have it would not be possible for me to go beyond a probability regarding the identification of the parasite I am studying. I decided to stop there for the moment and I sent a manuscript for publication to a journal. I will postpone the implementation of more refined techniques such as culture and DNA sequencing which will be entrusted to a young researcher.
