Yes, they are different species.

Sunetta scripta (Linnaeus 1758) was originally described by Linnaeus (1758: 683) as Donax scriptus, from the Mediterranean Sea.

Circe scripta (Linnaeus 1758) was originally described as Venus scripta, also by Linnaeus (1758: 689), but in a different genus and separate species description, from the Indian Ocean.
