is the notation,'≧' equivalent to  ≥ ,likewise, are tfor greater then or equal to, at least in the context of analysis or order theory

is notation for super ⫆ equivalent to ⊇ .?

I am seen this use of double super-scripts a lot more int older texts. And am wondering if in general it means these are older version of the more current terminology or whether there is some subtle difference?; attached is an example from order theory, although i have seen it used in functional analysis for example Gleason 1957. I presume its just older terminology
