In the last years many studies argued the role of the neurocognitive process called " abnormal salience" in the patogenesis of some psychotic symptom like delusion. It seems to me that the marked variabilty of the delusional symptom has not been taken in account enough. In a " real world " scenario, the patient shows his delusional symptom just in some interpersonal or environmental situations.
