In the 1940s and 1950s there have been cases of malaria in the south of the Atlantic Forest biome, however, never read anything about the Pampa biome.

These maps suggests none in the last 3 years at least. I'm sure there's a interactive map with all recorded cases somewhere in that malaria atlas project, but I can't now find it.

The study does not prove the transmission of malaria in the biome, only records the existence of Plasmodium in the mosquito.
Malaria is going to be consider "erradicated" in Argentina soon.
Endemic areas were no the NORTH WEST, near bolivia, not near the pampas.
