Dear Claudia, according to Reza and Debra to highlight the interest and pedagogical usefulness of the topic you chose. I'm intrigued to know why you chose that age range. There is some empirical data about it?

In Argentina in adolescents and children we noticed his difficulty in sustained attention in the classroom. It is only a contribution based on experience. This improves when you work with them one on one.

I do the research for my master's thesis in which I, from my personal experience with youth and their declining attention span in the classroom. For me it's also just my own subjective perception (and also that of my colleagues), so I'm looking for scientific evidence. As a further step, I shall discuss teaching methods to counteract this declining attention span.

Unfortunately I can not find any studies that are recognized as scientific evidence.

Claudia, thank you for sharing your motives. I got excited and thought there was scientific evidence. Maybe you can explore dintinciones on types of care, and see if anything on any. I'll see what I can track and at most exchange.

In my classroom experience with adolescents and youth, I note that the attentional pattern changed: no longer manage escuhar exhibition of more than 30 minutes, need to "do something" with the information and not just listen. Read so sustained over time (one hour) also they find it difficult texts. There is a work of Barbara Rogoff very interesting about how the environment modulates attention. I remembered now.
