Allelopathy has potential for developing alternative methods of weed control that are ecologically sound? Is there any evidence that substantiates my question? What types of plant exudates would be most effective to control weeds?
Dear Dr., it is an interesting idea. We have conducted similar research activities on Artemisia annua as alternative weed control option and we have found an interesting result and attached for your utilization. In addition, I have attached some more reference materials if they may be helpful to you.
I am working on a review study entitled Allelopathic effects of different plants on weeds: A bioherbicide approach. I find that some plants including Medicago sativa, Eucalyptus globulus, Capsicum annuum, Coriandrum sativum, Citrus sinensis, had effective control level on various weed species. if you want, i can share some literature with you.
Thank you all for your comments and also for sharing a lot of articles on this topic! Mohammad if you have a few more references that have not been shared yet, I would be interested in reading these, especially your review study.
