Are there any protocols for isolation of collagen other than type I collagen?

Hi everyone,

I currently use a slightly modified version of Rajan et al.2006 for preparing type I collagen solutions from rat tail tendons in lab. I was wondering if anyone knew any other protocols for preparing other collagen solutions. I am looking in particular for sources that could come from rat, and as for types of collagen I would really like to find a source for type IV collagen. Thank you very much.
