In metal forming, as a result of cold rolling, grain shape is changed and elongated along the rolling direction. This results in anisotropy in the mechanical properties of a sheet such as yield stress. Lankford coefficients are used to measure anisotropy and are typically found through the uniaxial tensile test in different rolling directions.
My question is, are there any models (ideally based on texture) that can predict Lankford coefficients?
