Are there any material can be added to cellulose fiber, and not shown in XRD (X-ray diffraction) pattern to prepare compact film of cellulose fiber?
Hi Khaled,
you have to use some amorphous material such as gelatin or agar for example; so you will only have a broad background due to gelatin / agar.
Please see the links for gelatin and agar XRD.

Thanks Dr Gerhard Martens for your answer
Hi!
Without any material you can make a fiber film just by modifying your XRD sample holder.

Using pospak material you can fabricate your fibel sample holder (figure attached).
1. Cut a pospak sheet(30mmX20mmX6mm) face ABCD
2. Cut a small portion (15mmX15mmX6mm) from one side say D as shown
3. Incident X-ray coming from Face A
4. Holder face B is towards Machine
5. Face C is the Reflected X-ray part
6. Cut a channel from face from face B to D (20mmX20mm) with 0.5mm depth to mount fibers.
7. mount your fibers heads within in this channel from face A to face C with the help of cellotape at its ends
8. Press your fibers with the help of a glass slide
