Are the C3, C4 and C6 positions of the hydroxyl groups on mannose adequately exposed to solution if using DSPE-Mannose in nanoparticle incorporation?

I am using ConA to validate a post-insertion approach to get a ligand linked micelle incorporated into LNPs - ConA should bind specifically and with high affinity to mannose, but I am not seeing any sort of interaction that would be verified by a size increase in DLS. Is the ConA assay not working (ie solubility, concentration of ConA present) or is the mannose not being effectively incorporated/presented ?
