Who hasn't ever felt that the rejection of an article or book is really unfair? Because reviewers are people who are knowledgeable about the subject of research, it sometimes happens that their research topics compete with those they are evaluating, which is why I maintain that at times envy and the desire to "eliminate" all competition is decisive for the outcome of the article or book. Could anything be done?
