There is a dearth of research on specific interventions and their effect on learning of numeracy. I would love some direction to articles, videos, infographics etc.
Here are some articles on numeracy development and relations to home and preschool learning envirronments which I found to be very usefull.

There are some results of research on influence the numeracy knowledge and skills on level of financial literacy (financial knowledge, skills, awareness, behaviours, itc.).
The more numeracy knowledge and skills the higher level of financial literacy and financial inclusion understood as degree of participation at the financial market (the PISA research - research among part of youth). You may expand the research.
My particular area of research is looking at gaining numeracy concepts via second language, particularly those that may have been mislearnt in English. The focus is really on the impact of learning in a non native language, not the focus on numeracy per se.
And list of the research reports and summary documents relating to (among others) numeracy projects funded by the Ministry of Education in New Zealand (p.2).
