GMOs, genetically modified organisms, or even ‘frankenfood,’ as they have been called have been eaten by consumers for many years. Numerous studies have shown no nutritional differences between commercially available GMO and non-GMO foods. In fact, genetic modification can improve the nutritional content of some foods. While some scholars argue that GMOs are safe, there is no adequate data on the possible negative side effects of consuming GMOs.

Scholars are arguing that inserting new genes into a plant’s DNA can create untold collateral damage. And others say we don’t know for sure what other effects genetic modification might be having in humans mentioning suggested health problems including leaky gut, allergic reactions, and endocrine Disruption. But still, there is no robust evidence to draw firm conclusions about this specific disease. On the other hand, according to the report of prior studies, a lot of people's health is improved when they switched to non-GMO diets.

With this what should be the stand of nutritionists? Should we recommend GMOs or Franken food healthy or not??
