I am not too familiar with cuttlefish biology, but I observed that in my region (North Tuscany, Italy) the common cuttlefish (Sepia officinalis) is abundantly present along the coast in shallow water only in late autumn / early winter. I was wondering if they migrate offshore to coastal zones and vice versa depending on the season. Is there anything published about it? Thanks.
