Two countries, i.e. El Salvador and the Central African Republic (CAR) have adoped Bitcoin as their legal tender. Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies have recieved growing attentions these days. The supply of Bitcoin is limited, i.e. 21 million. No central authrioties control the Bitcoin blockchain. As the nature of Bitcoin, central banks by their nature don't like Bitcoin. However, Bitcoin has its advantages, e.g. efficient payment, the potential to counter financial sactions, easy to store, growing global addoption. Will central banks buy Bitcoin? Or central banks have already started to accumulate Bitcoin sercetly?
