Well-known late signal from tumors is pain. The problem is how to identify/timely recognize early signalling from tumor site to the brain and to determine its possible reflection on the EEG.

Dear Shahin, I believe it is a great idea to study this question (the EEG differences in patients with different somatic pathology). But there will be a big difficulties because the EEG is very variable in one and the same patient. You should discuss this with an expert in Neurophysiology (that is not my field of expertise). Actually, dividing cells (like cancer cells) are emiting some weak electromagnetic signals (not related to EEG). A good research idea would be to create a nano-sensor which is able to detect and "retranslate" specific electromagnetic signals emiting by cancer cells. Then you can inject such nano-sensors in the blod stream to inspect the patient's body... it would be perfect if the nanosensors could attach to the sourse of the specific "cancer signalling" and release some cytotoxic drug. It would be a perfect example of targeted cancer treatment.
