I received a model from my colleague to modify it. After some modification in SpaceClaim I cannot update the model in Workench. I receive an error stating that "Update failed for the Model component in Static Structural. Cannot refresh component Model in system Static Structural. Required upstream file does not exit: C:\Users\AppData\Local\Temp\export.amm.

I receive an error stating that "Update failed for the Model component in Static Structural. Cannot refresh component Model in system Static Structural. Required upstream file does not exit: C:\Users\AppData\Local\Temp\export.amm.
Can you please guide me through this?

To update your model in Ansys Workbench, you will need to open the project that contains the model and re-import the updated .amm file. Once the file is imported, you can save the project and you should now be able to access the updated model.
Unfortunately, Ansys Workbench does not allow you to update your model using the Export.amm file. You will need to use the Ansys Mechanical GUI to update your model. To do this, you will need to open the Ansys Mechanical GUI, open the model in the GUI, select the Edit > Model Settings command, and make the desired changes to the model. Once you have made the changes, you will need to save them and close the Ansys Mechanical GUI before you can continue with your work in Ansys Workbench.
