I am using Ar-gas as protector in the furnace. According to the flow meter, the usage quantity is 340 liter for each process at room temperature (1 liter/min). So, would you please let me know, how I can convert that one to kilogram.
From Ar-gas chart one can get the density information. Mass flow rate= Vol. flow rate multiplied by density.

mass / V = mw x P / RT
since density (ρ) = mass / V...
ρ = mw x P / RT
solve...
ρ = (39.9 g/mole) x (1 atm) / [( 0.0821 L.atm /mol.K) x (298 K)] = 1.63 g/L
w=1.63 g/L x 340 L (consumed gas)=0.5kg
