I am trying to investigate the behaviour of a rectangular colum wrapped in CFRP. I currently dont know how to model the CFRP in ansys. what are the modeling options?
Since i currently have a limited time, i would appreciate it if some one can provide me with any example code of a column with CFRP wrap. it is better and faster to learn with example.

In the latest version of ansys 18.2 onwards you will directly get CFRP as a material model which can be used from ACP model.
Thankyou Mr Patil for your reply. Can one use those material models in apdl? can i select and attribute a material to a selected volume? What about fibre orientation issues or is it considered as an isothropic material?
