I have dissolved PCL 7.5% in chloroform:methanol (4:1) and collagen in aceti acid (Solubility: 0.1M for 1mg/mL). I mixed them in a PCL/collagen 4:1 concentraction.
I was able to electrospin with 15 and 20kV and a distance of 15cm. But after few days, the disolution appeared to solidified,. It seems the PCL solidified, leaving the collagen in a liquid phase.
Does anybody know other way to prepare this disolution?

I have not done it myself but I know HFIP will dissolve both of them perfectly. It may be a little expensive but if you have it, it can dissolve both of your biopolymers very fast.
