I would like to shift to a cheaper anti-Geminin(rabbit) antibody for my western blot and IF staining. I have been using an expensive one from Abcam. If anybody here happens to be using the same Ab. from any other company which is cheaper and works as good as "expensive" Abcam's, i would appreciate your valuable comments.
Cheapest antibody is your own design. You can design an antigen (peptide sequence) and inject into rabbit. Collect serum after 21 days.
If you cannot do this step some companies do the generation of the antibody.

Thanks Onur , i will try ur second suggestion biocompare for sure. Joydeep thanks for the suggestions. Iam a bit hesitant to try Santa Cruz as most of the Abs from them have loads of unspecific bands. Does it give lots of background (umspecific signal) in IF??
