Hi All, i am try to isolate Rhynchosporium secalisfrom infected leaf barley, I have service sterilized with 10% bleach and place it on PDA at 15C,
Anybody have culture pictures of the fungus on PDA, how its look like.

Hi Fakhtak, Yes, but it needs to incubate for 2 weeks at 15C. It's a very slow-growing fungi.
hi. fungus look like pinky cauliflower at media. at PDA contamination risk is too high because it grows too slow like 2-3 weeks abouy 18 degree. ı used lima bean agar-LBA media.ıts more safe.
