Estradiol (usually 0.5 mg/animal) is used to induce pseudo-estrus in rats before induction of vaginitis by candida albicans. Is pseudo-estrus induction a necessary stage in the process? What is the exact mechanism(s) of Estradiol in the process??

well as you know very well,Estrus is induced by E2 effects on the brain which is closed by ovulation time.there are some changes during estrus cycle; such as Hormonal and histology and blood supplying changes. one of them is hyper-vascularization that induced by E2 Effect. then I Think when you want to design a model for vaginitis, you have to ready her vagina at first by blood supplying. you can find some symptoms else in following text in Persian:

ضخامت اندومتریوم تحت تاثیر استروژن و پروژسترون تغییر می کند، در اثر استروژن، رگهای خونی افزایش می یابد، همانطور که در بالا بدان اشاره کرئم و همینطور سلولهای ستونی کوتاه خواهند بود و غده های تراوشی رحم تا اندازه ای رشد می کنند (اگرچه صاف هستند ولی تنها اندکی شاخه شاخه می شوند). اما به نظرم نکته سوال شما اینجاست که: تراوش های واژن، بیشتر موادی هستند که از دیواره آن نشت می کنند و در اثر استروژن که سبب افزایش رگهای واژن می شوند، افزایش می یابند.پس همه این تغییرات بایستی قبل از انکه بتوانی عفونت واژن یجاد کنید بایستی مد نظر قرار گیرند.
