I have been trying to find research on risks for recidivism in pedophilic behaviors such as consumption of child pornography or child sex abuse in persons with an autism spectrum disorder (or if there are any) and pedophilia. I'd greatly appreciate any tips.
I do not think you are going to find the answers to that question. While it is known that patients with Autism will show sexial deviancy, I doubt there are many scientific studies of treatment and even fewer of follow-up.
Asperger, back in the 40s, recognized this issue.
It would be an interesting study, paying attention to the 'obsessiveness' of the subjects ideations.

Thank you Gary, although a bit discouraging, I don't doubt you're right. I do feel it would be very interesting indeed, like the obsessive gathering of child pornography as an autistic "special interest" and such, not quite being able to take on their victims perspective and so on... well, I hope there is someone collecting data at the moment. to my knowledge, there is only limited systematic research on this topic. Sevlever and colleagues (2013) wrote a review from a forensic perspective. We wrote one on sexuality and ASD (2014) in general. You could also have a look at a study by Sutton et al. (2012) on the identification of ASD in adolescents accused of sex offenses. I think that different researchers are working on this studies relating to this.
