Question for you. Is there any reason why you wish to use ready-to-go PCR beads? It is relatively expensive, although useful. I have used them very very long time ago but not recently. If you are interested in finding alternatives, you should consider using pre-made PCR master mix system. The one that Promega sells comes as 2X solution. I have used these and they are very handy relatively cheap. So, if you need to run PCR on smaller scale, I would suggest this as an alternative. I still would prefer (from cost standpoint) to make my own master mix for the PCR and that is what I teach my students to do so they know how to do the PCR from scratch (well, relatively speaking). Hope this helps.
