SPSS Software is Excellent Proffessional Software for Data collection and Diagramatic Presentations. You can install SPSS Software in your computer and open the software. There are two sheets one is for Data entry and other one is to name the variables. Enter your data and select the Graphs on top of the sheet then legacy Dialogue then Bar chart or Pie chart or others. Its quite simple to use but Highly Recommended.
SAS Sotware is also Excellent Software for Data Entry and for Diagramatic Presentations. You have to have Licence copy for SAS Software to learn and operate in your Computer. Its widely used in USA and Highly Recommended.
MiniTab Quality Management Software is also easy to learn and to Produce Diagrams for Quality Management.
MS EXCEL is most user friendly software but you dont want to use it as you wrote above in your Question.
The R project, and especially R Studio are great opensource, free tools for making graphs and generally carrying out any statistical analysis you can imagine.
There are plenty of tutorial on how to build graphs in R and although it may seem daunting to have to 'script' your analysis, it makes changing and updating a breeze.
