This is a broad question. Start with topics that you can relate to/are familiar with/ have worked before in. Look at the previous research on that specific topic and make a gap analysis.

I can say that the hottest topic in NLP now is Question-Answering especially using dialects (Used by the vast majority of people especially on social media).

Jbene Mourad what you meant by dialect. if it means language then I think we only need to make a dataset in a specific language only the rest will be the same. isn't it?

A dialect is a particular form of a language that is peculiar to a specific region or social group, In my opinion, dialects are the ones used the most by users on social media for example. And these should be studied more carefully.
