Which metabolic pathway does COVID-19 induce, or which environment does it prefer?

Does it take advantage of the excess lactate due to the inflammation and immune response?

Any evidence on the enzymes it works with?? (other than the general 3C protease and the 3D RNA-dependent RNA polymerase, or interaction with ACE2).
