What is the mean amount of overall heat transfer coefficient at circular finned tube air-coolers?
(A rough estimate on amount of h at air-side can help)
Can anyone send me some good references for the correlations?
The fluid to be cooled is water and/or hydrocarbon.
Most UG texts have correlations for finned tube heat exchanger heat transfer correlations. Incropera and DeWitt, Holman, etc. all do. Perry's Handbook of Chemical Engineering also has such correlations.

I want to have some estimate on the amount of heat transfer coefficient (to re-check my results). I was expecting higher amounts in my results...
apply heat governing equations and fill out the experimental parameters for extracting the heat transfer coefficients for different thermal diffusion conditions. It may help check with multiphysics simulation tools
Keep in mind that the overall heat transfer coefficient (U) must be less than any (h) in the equation of calculating (U). So, you can pre-estimate (U).
