Try out "Review manager 5" ...most of the biomedical meta analysis are carried out through Revman...hope it helps.

Comprehensive Meta-Analysis lets you export customizable plots and even to .ppt. If you have a budget, it's the most practical software and one to go for, I believe.

In RevMan, taking screenshots and processing them with a photo editor may give good results.

You can use R, RevMan, Stata, ADDIS for meta-analysis.

R and RevMan, ADDIS are freely available. RevMan and ADDIS are more user-friendly.

You can also perform meta-analysis in excel using Neyeloff et al. The article is availble at; http://www.biomedcentral.com/1756-0500/5/52. But you will not find weight adjusted estimates using it.

I also recommend Excel or R. Making figures in R takes some getting used to, but the flexibility is good. 

We have developed a simple and free tool to perform meta-analysis in Microsoft Excel that you could use. It provides nice figures that you can easily adapt to your preferences. The tool is called Meta-Essentials and can be found at http://www.meta-essentials.com

Meta-Essentials can be used for all your basic meta-analyses. Moreover, it can be used for subgroup-analysis, moderator analysis, and publication bias analysis.
