Hello,
I am searching for a good anti-ICAM1 antibody for IF. Currently, I am using the one from Bio-RAD (MCA1615). It seems to be fine when I just use it for surface staining on HeLa cells (signal quite specific, confirmed by siRNA), but the signal becomes quite fuzzy if I permeabilize my cells.
Is it a problem of antibody or is it a problem of permeabilization? Anybody has some other verified recommendations for anti-ICAM1 antibody?

I sugget you this antibody from thermo fisher Scientific. ICAM-1 Monoclonal Antibody (1A29). https://www.thermofisher.cn/cn/zh/antibody/product/ICAM-1-Antibody-clone-1A29-Monoclonal/MA5407
I think the problem is not the permeabilization. This antibody (1A29) need permeablize.
I suggest you use below mentioned company's antibodies
1. Anti-ICAM1 antibody [EPR24639-3] (ab282575) from Abcam
2. 62133 CD54/ICAM-1 (VF27-516) Mouse mAb from Cell signaling technology (CST)
