I am planning to carry out a parametric study in Plaxis 3D. I am going to run nearly 40 analyses. Is there any option to write a code for Plaxis model and change the particular parameter for each analysis? Otherwise, I need to create many different models for changing just one parameter.

Did not tried, but there is feature of PLAXIS-PYTHON REMOTE SCRIPTING that you can find in following thesis in appendix A,

Hi quite simply you creates the model and you write save as in file at the main menu and you will have the same geometrical model
you can then change the desired parameter.

Actually it is not that quite simple. Linking Plaxis to Python is so powerful that you can make the 40 analyses and scenarios literally quite simple.
I think using remote scripting would be a little complicated for implementing such easy task. I think the best way would be using save as option and make a new model and change the requested parameter through options,
Expert-run commands.
In addition you can reach this option through keyboard buttons Ctrl+F9, too.
For finding relevant command on Plaxis, first you can perform your change on your model and then you can easily see the commands in command line section in Plaxis.
