Any advice on the selection of Distortion Control parameter value in Abaqus modeling?

What is the minimum or maximum value of Distortion Control can be used in Abaqus mesh modeling?

I tested 0.5 and 1.0 Distortion Control value but there is a huge difference in results for aluminum metal.

Is there any chart specific for metal?
