I have always been very happy with Roche machines for HRM. I even did HRM on the very first commercial LightCycler. The nano is much more addapted of course. I would like to refer to two publications of a panel of HRM methods. They were optimised for diagnostics, but can of course also be used for research. Which machine is the one of choise depends on the number of samples you expect, your budget and what other possiblities you will exploid.
