need suggestion if someone can help in selection of most suitable but less costly and cheapest adjuvant to produce humoral response in mice animal model? Due to funds issue i just cant manage to opt for available adjuvants in market, so i just wonder if there is any alternate option for anything to be used as adjuvant in mice animal model experiment?

Alum (Aluminium hydroxide) is quite common and used in many vaccines.
This is a particulate composed of Alum (quite effective but more expensive)

Aluminium hydroxide can be prepared very cheaply from aluminium sulfate and sodium bicarbonate

However, you can buy it purified for research purposes (a bit more expensive).

The selection of adjuvant is based on many factors; including the kind of lab animal, type of immune response targeted either cellular or humoral and type of antigen used (bacteria, virus, parasites … etc). But in your case in mice, the best selection is Poly I:C for eliciting both humoral and cellular immune responses. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/20846528 Naloxone is also a good alternative https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21093956 And finally Alum (Aluminium Hydroxyde) can be used and you can check the price of these adujants. But, take care not to use cheap adjuvant to overcome funding issues and this may have bad impact on your experiment.
