I am looking for a commercially available antibody that will allow me to detect N-terminal myristoylation in proteins that I have made in a E.coli co-expression system with yeast NMT. I have seen a few papers where people have made their own antibodies against modified synthetic peptides, but was wondering if anyone has found a pan antibody that would recognize the N-terminal of any myristoylated protein. It would be for purified proteins/western blot so the complexity of the sample is low.
