Greetings good people. I've been trying to generate a mesh for a body, but it doesn't seem to be doing it properly for one of the faces. I've attached two pictures showing the meshing.
The error that I was getting was that it was an invalid body, with zero volume. So I went back to DesignModeler, and one of the faces is defined as a, 'Surface Body' and not a solid. I tried fixing this by using, 'Body Operation', but it says that no solid body can be created. I'm wondering where I can go from here so I don't get any errors while meshing. Thank you
I've got my mesh in Mechanical. How does one export that in .cdb format?

Nils Wagner Thanks for your reply. I've looked at the link you've shared, and the commands seem like Mechanical APDL commands. I'm using ANSYS Workbench, and after some time looking into this, I'm unsure how to input APDL commands into Workbench. A lot of information related to this is quite dated. What would you suggest?
The following is the method I used to, 'generate' a .cbd file. I created a Named Selection with the total number of nodes, and then exported the selection to a .cbd file. Despite specifying the range to encompass all nodes however, the selection is not including all nodes. It seems to be around 200 nodes short, which is a possible explanation for the .cbd file I've shared to be incomplete.
The original mesh has 1,610,356 nodes, but the selection caps at 1,610,158 nodes. I've had a further attempt with it, but can't seem to get to a larger number than that
