By importing an ACP Composite model which already has been simulated in a static structural analysis in Ansys, I am trying to do the same with a static thermal analysis but I get following problem message:
''Layered section is not allowed in the current analysis''
and the simulation does not start.
How can I import my composite model if layered sections are not allowed in thermal analysis? Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?

Check your solution information to see what element are you using. The default element in "Steady-State Thermal" module that you are using is not capable of performing structural analysis and for that reason you get this error. Instead, use static structural module and change the element to SOLID227 or SOLID226 (based on your mesh type) using command snippet and use the KEYOPT 11 that identifies the Structural-Thermal element in your analysis. Do not forget to identify the thermal properties. You need to do this by using command snippet as well. this should get you started.

I have a thin composite laminate which is produced by a surface in the design geometry phase, so it is consisted of shell elements after meshing it. I cheked your suggestion, I have element type SHELL 181 , and I changed them after looking for an appropriate element type for thermal analysis to SHELL 131 or 132 with the following commands:
et,matid,131
keyopt,matid,4,4 ( since my laminate consists of 4 laminas)
I still get the same error ( ''Layered section is not allowed in the current analysis'' ) when I link the Setup of ACP Pre to the Model of the Steady -State Thermal and try to start the simulation.
Do I have to use the specific solid elements you suggested for a better link between ACP Pre and Thermal Analysis or can I use also shell elements?(similar to SOLID227/226 I found a quadrilateral element for coupled physics analysis the PLANE13 , which might be a good choice for thin shell geometry?

I tried remeshing the model using solids, by designing the geometry with extrude in order to have a Volume-Solid body. After doing the meshing I cannot go to/open the SETUP of the ACP Pre, I get the error: ''There is no data contained in the input mesh file'', although I have already meshed it..
I also have already added the thermal properties( thermal conductivity and specific heat) from the Engineering Data Tab in Workbench, do I also have to declare them using APDL commands?

The method I explained works only with Solid models. Actually I think there is a confusion here. First, when you model a composite in ACP, you start with modelling a surface and define different layer on it. However, after you connect your analysis to a static structural analysis you will have again only "one" surface that has to be defined with thickness. I mean, there is no layup in there. Second, ACP is a structural analysis and by default can not be connected to steady-state thermal module. I searched to find a Multiphysics shell element (structural- thermal) and could not find one. So I think that connecting ACP to steady-state thermal analysis is not a good idea (even it is not practical). Therefore, I suggest that you insert your geometry in a steady-state thermal module and change the element to shell131. You need to define the layers with secdata command. I put a link for you to get a good idea how that works. This method will be good for cases where layer thickness is so small and shell element should be used. material properties is not necessary to be defined by command snippet, since you can define them in WB.
However, I got a fundamental question from you. why you are trying to do this. Because the most important part of the thermal analysis is considering the kapitza resistance between polymers and fibers or particles in composite materials which is going to be neglected in this method. For that reason I don't get the main motivation behind this or application for composite materials.
