Im in the look out for a highly viscous eeg/tACS gel and donut shaped tCS rubber carbon electrodes needed for my sleep study. Both of these are demonstrated in https://www.jove.com/video/53527/concurrent-electroencephalography-recording-during-transcranial
In regards to the donut shaped tCS electrodes i can't find them anywhere. Does anyone know who sells them? Additionally, is it safe to make them by hole punching a circular tCS electrode?
In regards to viscuous gel i've found some options but they either dont show/tell how viscuous it is or . Does anyone have any recommended brands?

You might be better to look at even thicker pastes for a sleep study, such as Ten20, which has a very sticky, waxy texture. Many labs are using this for stimulation studies now, due to the good connection it allows between the electrode and the scalp.
Thank you for your response. I have tried ten20 paste. It's great for attaching EEG electrodes to the scalp not TACS (although I will be using collodion glue for EEG). Liquid should be viscous enough to not drip and to last a few hours without drying which Ten20 does well but it's too thick to penetrate hair. Basically what would be best is something between ten20 paste and your standard gloopy eeg gel (like in the video).
Then you could try Abralyt EEG paste, which is thicker than the paste in the video, but thinner than Ten20.
