This is for all those for who the measures of scientific productivity in terms of numbers is important.

Can there be another measure which is determined as follows:

(Sum of impact factors of journals in which articles appear giving citation to an author)/total number of articles of the author.

Does it make sense?

Or am I talking about a method that already exists?

In any case, this number will change every year due to changes in impact factor.
