For an assistant professor job at Indian Institute.
An institute is asking for at least 4 journal papers in a peer-reviewed journal. I have 2 (SCIE) and 2 (ESCI) and 1 (Scopus) paper. Am I qualified for that job?
I had a look at your publication list and though your discipline is not my field of expertise I see:
-A paper published by Springer Nature
-Two papers published by Wiley (with searchable peer review history)
-Two papers published by Taylor & Francis
I conclude for sure that you without a doubt fulfill the requirement to have at least four peer reviewed papers. So, when it comes to this requirement you are qualified and you can apply for the position (of course the extent of competition and the other qualifications will determine your chances).
Devnath Shah , it seems that you have 5 publications on peer reviewed journals so you should be eligible as long as criteria of authorship (being a single author, first author, or a co-author) do not matter to them; however, keep in mind that many can apply to the position with larger number of publications, so it can be quite competitive. All the best.
