Dear Experts,
I intend to acquire some functionalized MWCNT or SWNCT for their higher stability and optical properties; however, I have no clue about discrepancies between hydroxyl, carboxyl, and amino-functionalized nanoparticles. which one is more soluble in EG or water? which one has higher thermal conductivity? what are their differences?

It is very difficult to say a perfect answer about any kind of properties regarding the comparison of the hydroxyl, carboxyl, and amino-functionalized nanoparticles. The functional parts may change various properties e.g. surface area which may influence other properties e.g. adsorption property. So to make a perfect answer there should be a comparative study based on the same nanoparticle which can be further functionalized as stated. From my side, I can say the above.

the producers report properties such as given below:
Multi-walled nanotubes (MWNTs),-COOH functionalized
SSA: > 110 m2/g (BET)
Ash: 100 s/cm
Tap density: 0.28 g/cm3
True density: ~2.1 g/cm3
Content of-COOH: 2.73 wt% (XPS & Titration)
length, OD, and ID.
How can these data van help to decide?
